Hi!
I bought the 1. generation Swift 5, with the USB-c v.3.0 last year.
After reading on the forum, i get that the USB-C v. 3.0 does not support charging.

My question is then;
Is there an way to upgrade the USB-C v. 3.0 to a v. 3.1?

The newer versions of the Swift are able to charge though an adapter i've come to know, but mine is not.

All answers are appretiated.

    Currently there is no option to upgrade USB 3.0 to 3.1 for laptops and slim model devices.

    For Windows desktop PC or a Mac desktop, the procedure is basically the same as long as your machine has an open PCI Express x4, x8 or x16 slot. Simply get yourself a USB 3.1 Type-C adapter card and install it into the empty slot! This adapter will only work in a desktop computer. it's incompatible with laptops.
