GX-792 Frightful noise

Hello,

A few months ago I have made the acquisition of an Acer gaming laptop, the Predator GX-792. I've had to separate myself from my previous desktop since I've had to move around often for professional reasons for the last months, I then bought a powerful laptop which had the same components as my desktop, the Predator GX-792. For further specifications, I'll let you google it.
Mon issue today is that, there is a high pitch noise that resounds when I'm playing a videogame with detailed graphics that requires a high amount of resources from the laptop. I got in contact with Acer a couple of days ago, here are 2 attached files that will showcase the sound I am talking about if you want to listen (simply click the link) :

The very first time I have heard this noise was after I had factory-reset the laptop, when you get to this screen (it does it all the way through, which would be tens of minutes.) :

This one is when I'm in game (For instance, Guild Wars 2 or Fortnite these days) and that my graphics settings are set to the maximum

The sound is located near the numeric keypad area, to the right of the computer, I do not know what is beneath, and I'd rather not take it apart since it's new, I've done my research, and I've discovered that it could be what is called a "Coil Whine", but that remains to be proven, I don't think that's it, what do you think?

Also, if I set the parameters to be lower than maximum, say, medium or automatic selection, I don't get the noise, well... I think it's still there, just that it's not loud enough for me to hear it, in my headset, if I turn off the sound of the game I'm playing and I focus a bit, I can still hear it slightly.

Another thing that is really annoying, this sound that you can hear in the links I've shared, I also hear in my headest, which is plugged in with a jack plug, well I don't always hear it because often times the sound of the game will cover it, but if there's a moment with less sound or if I completely cut it then I can fully hear it very well and I find this odd. Could it be an interference?

So here I am, I bought a laptop to replace my desktop and be able to play at all the games in the highest setting possible, and I'm stuck having to play in medium quality to avoid this weird noise that bothers people in the room I'm in, but also myself since I can hear it in the headset...

What do you think? I'd like your thoughts on this. I'm currently waiting for Acer but I don't have much faith in them. I already got one response and the guy asked me on what game the noise could be heard... Which is not really the matter here. One thing is certain, it must come from the graphic card.

Thank you in advance and have a nice day!

There is no other component except the GPU that can produce this kind of noise. There aren't componets located under the number pad that can produce this kind of noise(the CMOS battery and some ICs are located there). The GPU is located around the area under the enter key, I suggest you to check if the noise there is louder. It is possible to be a ground loop issue. It is also very possible to be a ground/power contamination from the GPU or motherboard, caused by fast switching transients, which is picked by the cirucit managing the sound. It is very possible that you have coil whine and ground/power contamination.

Either way, the problem most likely is within the hardware and to get it fixed you have to deal with Acer support.

I own the same device and it has a coil whine, but I don't hear it in headphones/headset. In my case limiting the fps/enabling v-sync reduces the noise to unnoticable level, so you can try that, but if it isn't a coil whine only, then it won't help.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
