When I start up my ACER Laptop with model # AO1-131-C1G9 running windows10, I get a message saying "Your device needs the latest security updates, Microsoft can't Install important updates on your PC until you fix the following issues: disk space: you'll need to free up some disk space on your PC (8gb required: free up space now). From this point, I have clicked on "Free Up Space Now". Next, I get a message saying "select which disk you want to clean up" after which I select disk c and hit ok. The next message I get says "disk cleanup is calculating how much space you will be able to free on C this may take a few minutes to complete. Once that process is complete, I get a message saying "you can use disk cleanup to free 910 mb of space under which is a list of files I can choose to delete and none of which are large enough for my goal of getting rid of 8gb of space. I've tried going to settings and storage and then selecting the category of "system and reserved" because that is where atleast 8bg or more of space is listed as used up. Once I go into the "system and reserved" category, however, I see that the only sub-category where I could delete 8gb of space or more is a sub-category called "system files". A message says "These system files help windows function properly. Your system won't work properly without them". How could I free up disk space on my PC in response to the message "You'll need to free up some disk space on your PC (8GB Required: Free up space now)" if I can't identify the files that 8gb and that aren't required for my computer to work properly? I have an external hard drive with over 900 gb of space I can use to move files to if I wanted. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time in reading this message.
