this model only supports a total of 4 gig RAM. I was wondering if its possible to upgrade the motherboard on this model in order to upgrade my RAM. I see motherboards for sale on ebay but not sure. The number on my motherboard is 0019DB74840F. Is it possible to get help from someone in order to make this machine faster and more efficient.  Found a motherboard on ebay for a 6900 and not sure if this will work.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

This model supports Intel® Celeron® supporting FSB up to 533 MHz, or Intel® Pentium® 4 supporting FSB (front side bus) up to 800/1066 MHz
    • Intel® 945G Express chipset
    • DDR2 667, 4 DIMM slots, expandable to 4 GB dual-channel memory.

The best option is to switch to newer systems that can hopefully help you with your requirements.
Legacy systems might make use of older hardware machines which could be consuming excessive or expensive resources. Doesn’t allow new features to built into it. Or is not possible to adapt to your needs.

While these may be working like a charm now, they will eventually break. When this happens, you will see higher repair costs when compared with new technology. Beyond replacement costs is the fact that many manufacturers and software developers have stopped supporting older systems. This means that should an error occur, you will not necessarily be able to get support from the company who made the hardware. This can lead to repair delays
