Hello,

I have some problem with my Aspire E5-471PG laptop is that i cannot load the boot from external installation media such as CDROM and USB drives. And, i cannot save my boot priority order. Although i changed the boot order and saved the setting, it's back to previous setting after its restart.

Service center said that was motherboard problem and they need to rebuilt the bios/firmware and it may lead to no power issue. The chance is 50% only.

Please let me know what would be the problems and is there another way to fix it?

Thanks in advanced.

Are you able to boot the device from the hard disk?
Have you tried the Alt + F10 key internal recovery steps?

You could also, try to 'Press F12 to Select Boot Device' which allows you to just do a one-time boot select. As before, plug everything in before turning it on so the BIOS can detect.

    Hello Sharanji,

    Thanks for your comment.
I'm sorry. I missed out to shown what i tried for this issue.

No, i cannot able to boot from harddisk. That's why I tried to boot from external media. Actually my EFI partition is missing BCD and i'm trying to recovery it. Unfortunately, this issue was occured. I also tried with E-recovery but didn't work although i press Alt+F10. One-time boot (F12) is still unluck. It couldn't make to load the booting process. It's the issue that make me down.

Hope to get more advices from you.

    Thank you.
