XG270HU monitor has a max refresh rate of 75hz instead of 144.

Using a 980Ti with display port 1.2, but it only lets me set the max resolution as 2560x1440 @ 75Hz through nvidia control panel and through other ways to change resolution. Part number is MC.T1T11.005 anyone know whats wrong with it or if I got scammed?

    Also tried out several cables and dual link dvi, and setting res to 1080p still gave me max hz of 75

    There's two different XG270HU monitors in the link below.  One supports 144.  One supports 75.  It sounds like you have the one that supports 75 Hz max.

    XG270HUAomidpx only supports a max of 75 Hz.

    Even though the manual says HU? I even tried to avoid the HUA version too lmao

    Check the box (if you still have it) - the refresh rate is on the side and the full-specs can be found on the white sticker on the end of the box.
