I used this program for a long time. Only way I could game because of the heat (already modded case and changed paste and all that jazz)  Why would they just up and stop supporting our cpu? 4720hq

What version of throttlestop are you using?
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Only 8.50 should work. The other versions are outdated. What is the message that you get when you try to run it? If it is something similar to 'This CPU is not supported', then I suggest you to write in techpowerup's forum.
