Hello guys!

I'm relatively New to computer architecture, and recently purchased a New PSU for my desktop computer, and met some complications along the way.
My motherboard required a 12-pin Power input, whereas my PSU held 24. I could solve this With a 24 to 12-pin PSU adapter.
However there is also a 4-pin socket in the motherboard (which I don't know the purpose of), and the PSU came With an 8 pin for this.I

Is there any way to solve this issue. For example buying an 8-4 pin adapter?

    Hi @ Joachimkr
The 4-pin socket in the motherboard is for connecting the auxiliary case power supply connector to ATX_12V.
This model has single-rail power supply that is different than many standard 3rd party ATX power supplies.
