Hi guys,

Recently, I ordered an Acer Predator 15 G9-593 laptop and it will come with 2x256 M.2 SSD, but I would like to extend its capacity with HDD. As much as I know I will need a SATA III cable but it will be solved by the Acer.
However, I still have only one question about putting the HDD into the laptop operation. Will I lose the warranty if I open the laptop and connect the cable to the motherboard and put the HDD into the laptop?
I know that I would and I will be very careful when I open it so to break something is not on my mind!

I would receive any suggestion about this issue!

Thank you for helping me in advance!

Disassembying the laptop, installing the SATA cable and HDD won't void the warranty, unless you break something in the process.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
