Hi need some help. Purchased two acer aspire laptops a year ago and one of them is now showing the error message subscription expired whenever I try to open word? Icon to reactivate gives options to buy/enter product code or add computer to an active account.? I never had a Microsoft key code as it was all was preloaded and I just switched it on and followed the set up. How do I get it working again? Thanks

I think it just preludes with a one year subscription if I am not wrong man.

If your Acer computer came with a 1 year Office 365 subscription, you will have 6 months to activate it with Microsoft.

Use the following steps to activate your Office 365 subscription. Before you begin make sure your computer has internet access.

    1. From the Start Screen, locate and click on the Office tile.
    2. Click Activate after Office 365 is verified on your system.
    3. Enter you Microsoft Account when prompted.
    4. Verify your Country and Language, then click Continue.
    5. Click Install from the MyAccount page.
    6. After Office installs, click Next to continue.
    7. Click Next.
    8. Select your Office background, then click Next.
    9. Click Take a look or No, thanks.
    10. Click All done! You will now see Office applications in the Apps List and they can be pinned to Start.
