Why does my laptop keep shutting down when not plugged in the charger?

I have an Acer Aspire E15 E5-575G-55LU, bought around august 2016. I am in college (I'm studying IT) so I need my laptop a lot. But when I remove the charger, even if the battery is at 100% he just crashes randomly. Sometimes after an hour, sometimes after 5 minutes. I can restart the laptop again and sometimes while he is restarting there is something at the bottom of my screen with "Repairing C-drive". When my laptop is charging, it's totally fine and he never crashes.

I can't send my laptop to Acer for repair because I need it everyday, even when I'm not in school. Is there any way I can fix this on my own?

Can you check if you can right click on Desktop -> Graphics properties -> Click on Power Icon -> Click on On Battery -> Disable " Display refresh rate switching" option."

This probably might fix the issue, however let me know.
