How can I get my device keyboard to work again?

I recently took the back off of my Aspire E5-571-563B to fix the built in speakers, but after putting it back together, my keyboard quit working. I took it apart again and re-checked to be sure every thing was the same as it was before taking it apart and all connections were the same.

I tried re-setting the battery, and also tried changing the settings, but it still will not work.

The On Screen Keyboard works. But that is a pain to use, so I have to use a USB keyboard from one of my other computers in the HH.

Any ideas on how to fix it or what I may have missed?

I'm giving this to my Hubby and the easiest for him the better.
