Can I reset my Switch Alpha 12 with a new Microsoft account

Having issues with the account attached to my Switch Alpha 12 because it's the account linked with my home PC. Can I reset it with a new account?

Yes but you can convert the existing Microsoft account into a local account and then convert that into a Microsoft account with a different email address man!

Step 1: To convert to local account.

 

1. Press Windows logo + I keys on the keyboard to open system Settings window.
2. Click Accounts and under Your emails and accounts, click on sign in with a local account instead option.
3. Enter your Microsoft account password and click on Next.
4. Type the Password, and Password Hint that you want set for the local account and click Next. 
5. Click on Sign out and Finish button.
6. Login to check if the changes are effective.

 

Step 2: To switch to Microsoft account.

 

1. On the newly converted Local user account, press Windows logo + I keys on the keyboard to open Settings window.
2. Click Accounts and under Your emails and accounts click on sign in with a microsoft account instead option.
3. Enter the new Microsoft account ID and Password and click Sign in.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions and check if the changes are effective.
