I have a G3-572 model predator laptop. It has 128 gb of SSD.
Is it possible to upgrade the ssd capacity by installing a new ssd of higher capacity?
If yes, how can it be done and which form factors are supported ?

    Hi,
Yes, you can install that M.2 SSD, install MiniTool Partition wizard(Free) and use Migrate feature to transfer your OS to 1TB HDD, remove the M.2 SSD (128GB), install the Samsung SSD(500GB) and migrate the OS from HDD to it.
Once you migrated to 500GB Samsung SSD, remove the 1TB SSD and boot with the new 500GB SSD, then delete the OS from 1TB HDD once you make sure that your new Samsung M.2 SSD working without any problem.

    Hi,
Installing M.2 SSD involves the removal of back cover, so you need to make sure that removing back cover doesn't void the warranty, contact Acer Support in your country and get the confirmation, otherwise you have to get it fixed by Acer Service centre.
    This is the procedure:
    1. Remove single screws for HDD bay and Memory door, take out the HDD and memory modules.
2.Remove 15 screws from the back cover.
    3. You have to release the tabs to separate the bottom cover from the main body, use a guitar pick, an old credit card or any plastic tool(thin) to release the tabs, do it slowly and avoid breaking the tabs.
    4. Lift the back cover and find M..2 SSD next to memory modules, take out the screw, the SSD will raise at an angle, slowly take it out.
    5. Installing the new M.2 SSD is the reversal of this procedure.

Does Predator G3-572 support m.2 SATA or nvme?
