Upgrading memory on Nitro 5 Spin

Hi all,
before purchasing this laptop (Nitro 5 Spin NP515-51-858Z) I did some research about being able to add a HDD on top of the 256 GB SSD already in the laptop. I read online that the US Acer were sending out free HDD Caddy and SATA cable kit but not in Australia?
I opened up the laptop and saw that there was a slot available to undertake this task. However, I emailed Acer about how to go about doing this but they said to call them; however, I am still unable to get the support I needed. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone had any luck being able to achieve this?

You can try directly contacting Acer store to get the memory modules and HDD Caddy.

Update: I called the Acer store and the lady who picked up said that Acer does not sell the memory modules and HDD Caddy kit even though the US stores are giving them away for free? So was there another way on obtaining the above?
