Upgrade CPU (Intel Pentium T4300) on motherboard Acer JV50

Hello,
Laptop: Acer Aspire 5738ZG
I want to replace the current CPU: Intel Pentium T4300 (screenshot),
on Motherboard: Acer JV50 rev (screenshot),
to this CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9100

Can there be any compatibility issues?

    It might work or might not work, because the TDP is different. You current CPU has 35W and the one you want to install is 45W. It is worth a try if you find a retailer that will let you return the CPU, if it doesn't work.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
