Hello,

I have a strange problem with my laptop Acer Aspire E1-532G. I have two display adapters - Intel HD and AMD Radeon R5 M240. Everything went well, but recently suddenly something happened (maybe any update?) - the laptop started to behave weird regarding power saving states of the laptop. Now when it is told (by settings) to turn off the screen, it turns it off, but permanently - when I move mouse or press any button, it does not help. So the only solution is to hard stop and start again. In addition, when I try to make the laptop sleep or hibernate, the screen turns off, but the LEDs are still on (power/wi-fi/battery) or blinking (HDD). Once I've been waiting for an hour if something will happen (e.g. the LEDs will turn off), but nothing has happened, so I (full of angry) switched it off.
The only solution I've found so far to be able to normally work on my computer without fear of turning screen off because of idle time was to remove driver of AMD and Intel adapter (in Safe mode with Display Driver Uninstaller) and install back ONLY the Intel one. Then the laptop behavior is as expected - screen turns on after mouse move, laptop sleeps and wakes up when it is told to etc.
But I'm sure there must be some "clear" solution, that both devices might live next to each other without interference and without making user life a hell by reinstalling drivers round and round.

I found (hopefully) the best drivers on both Intel and AMD vendor web pages - the Intel one is of version 15.36.33.4578 and the AMD one of version 17.7.1.
OS installed is Windows 8.1.
Other specifications can be provided.

Thank to anybody for any help.
