Hello Acer Community,

I bought Acer E5-573-55U8 laptop and there is no way to make it recognise Windows 10 pro bootable installation disc or USB. I have original Windows 10 pro key and everytime i put Windows ISO to install, the laptop recognise it as a Windows 10 Home and not pro. I tried many original ISO files from the internet, same thing, automatically switch to Home version, cant recognise and install PRO. When i download ISO file from "media creation tool" and when i boot from usb, there is no option at the beginning to ask me what version of windows to install (home, pro, enterprise etc.), it only allow Home. Why is that? how to install Win10 Pro on my laptop?

Thanks in advance.

    1. Install Windows 10 Home

    2. After you install Windows 10 Home, go to settings and change your product key (enter your Pro key) and Windows will be automatically upgraded to Pro.

Note: If you upgraded/purchased Windows 10 Pro from the Microsoft Store, and have a digital license linked to your Microsoft Account, and you're reinstalling Windows from a USB flash drive, then all you have to do is install windows 10 home and change the product key to the generic Windows 10 Pro key (can be found by googling),
    I'm not an Acer employee.
