Laptop shuts down randomly while on battery

This is what happens: the laptop "randomly" shuts down while on battery, even when the charge indicator is high, let's say 70%. Then, when I turn it on again, it's actually on 0%. What happens is that for some reason Windows can't get accurate information about the charge status of the battery. I know when this is going to happen because the charge indicator will stay still at a fixed number until the battery finally discharges and shuts down apparently for no reason.
Is there a way to fix this? I have TWO models and BOTH have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM: E5-575G-54YE and E5-576G-5762. The first one is 6 months old and the second one 1 week old. OS is Windows 10 1709 (16299.192).

Hi,
You could try a battery reset, switch off the laptop, disconnect from mains, follow the instructions in the video, leave the laptop to rest for 15-20 mins before starting again.
