On the right side on the laptop I see a tiny hole(looking at 2nd picture). If it has this symbol(watch the video) next to it, then this is the battery reset pinhole. Disconnect from AC, turn off he laptop and follow he instructions from the video to perform a battery reset.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

    Hi,
You could try a battery reset, there should be a pinhole at the back with a battery icon besides it, switch off the laptop, disconnect from mains(remove AC adapter), follow the instructions in the video, once finished leave the laptop to rest for 15-20 mins.

    Hi,
You have a warranty warning sticker in one of the screws of the service hatch, so you may void your warranty if you remove the screw, it's better to take it to a Acer Service centre and upgrade the memory.
    http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/
If you are not bothered about the warranty and want to go ahead with the upgrade, remove 4screws from the service hatch, slide it towards you and lift the cover, insert the memory module at an angle and pushdown gently until the module clicks in the retainer clips.
