Hello,  I am looking at getting an Acer Aspire E15 E5-576G-5762 for accounting purposes.  The plan is to run QuickBooks Premier and Office Pro.  I see that the Aspire E15 comes with Windows 10 Home.  I am wondering if the machine can be successfully upgraded to Windows 10 Pro

Yes.  You can upgrade Windows 10 Home to Pro with no problem.  I run an E5-471G-56YK and upgraded to Pro after my purchase and I have had no problems.

    Hi
    RookieLaura

You can upgrade your device from Microsoft windows 10 home to Pro. To upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro, you'll need a valid product key or a digital license for Windows 10 Pro for the device you're upgrading.

Note : Create the recovery media for the OS shipped with your device before making any changes.

I bought an E15 from Amazon.  Received it about 11 days ago on a Monday.   Initial setup and Windows 10 update went fine.  But by 7 hours later, it was producing BSOD's every few minutes, and by the time I was talking to a phone rep,  it wouldn't boot at all.  Got a case ID and delivered it to their repair organization in Temple, TX personally.

So I possessed it probably 22 hours, and they have had it ever since.   What gives?

I am trying to keep a good attitude about it, but each passing day erodes that a little.  I am also worried that if/when it returns, it will be compromised.

What did the rep say? Are they planning to repair or replace?
