Hello Wonder if you can please. I have this tablet running Android 6. and Windows 8 computer. I've used 128MB micro SD card which is being used by device. Although I can access internal memory via pc I can't access the SD memory. I cannot understand what is happening but I bought a big SD card so I could store a lot of stuff on here and it's not very useful at present. Thanks

if you put the microSD on a SD adapter and on your PC, are you able to browse it?

Thanks. No it asked to be formatted to be read in an SD adaptor (Windows 8.1) - on a friend's computer Windows 7 it didn't even acknowledge its presence.
The card is SanDisk Ultra 128GB microSDXC Memory Card + SD Adapter with A1 App Performance up to 100MB/s, Class 10, U1.
    On the tablet:
In file manager only the internal storage shows.
In settings, Storage and USB - both internal and SanDisk SD card show
Some apps have stored in external/SD storage.
As I remember it the tablet immediately recognised the disk and I didn't ask to reformat it.
I was hoping that I could use the external storage to copy over photos, mp3s and pdfs -but I'm at a loss how to do this if I can't transfer via a cable or by physically removing the SD card.
When tablet is connected to my laptop - by cable - only the internal memory shows (a friend gets the external SD showing as a separate drive letter)
Any help would be much appreciated. Anji61

format on your PC as NTFS and then put it to your tablet, check if the table still recognise it, if not, format it as FAT32 (you will not be able to copy sinlge files over 4GB with FAT32)

I uninstalled apps from the SD card and put it in my laptop. I followed through the format options and could only seem to options for formatting to 16GB. This seems very strange and I feel I'm getting a bit out of my depth here. Cheers Anji61

    try this:
    https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/eula_windows/index.html

it's the official SD Association formatter, install it and the run it with the SD card plugged, then click on options and turn ON the Format Size Adj, click OK and then click Format.
then check if the whole storage is available.
