Hello everyone
Yesterday I bought my first Acer Predator and I must say that the experience so far is disappointing. I can't even browse the web without graphic bugs and of course it is far worst while gaming. After almost 10 hours researching similar issues on the web, I have finally decided to post here as a last recourse before taking the machine back to the store.

My problem:

Basically graphics bug (I don't know the term in english) when i am browsing the web or playing. Here are two different screenshot from league of legend (one of the lowest requirements games for the test) and one from Mozilla. The one from LoL is not obvious, but you should imagine this sort of line multiplied by 100 and flashing all over the screen. The one from the website is a better illustration imo.

My Config:

Model name : ,Predator G6-710
BIOS version : ,R01-A2
Operating system : ,Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor : ,Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz
Memory : ,32GB
Network device 1 : ,Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265
Network device 2 : ,Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
CPU
Processor : ,Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz
Cores : ,4
L1 cache : ,256 KB
L2 cache : ,1024 KB
Memory
Memory : ,32GB

My monitor, also bought yesterday, is a SAMSUNG C27F591FD, 27'', currently set at 1920x1080 @ 60Hz. The monitor is connected through HDMI to the lowest port on the desktop (the other port, the one from the motherboard, is sealed with a plastic plug)

What I have already tried:

- Updating the drivers from windows and Nvidia control panel: drivers are up to date.
- Updating drivers from my monitor
- Connecting the monitor to another PC: there was no issue so I guess the monitor is working normally here.
- Reset the PC: my particular issue is not resolved but now I have a 1h30 long "Getting windows ready don't turn off your computer". Moreover, I do not have anymore access to the Nvidia control panel while right clicking on desktop.
- Force change my monitor refresh rate up to 70 Hz (the highest it could handle): did not change anything

If someone have had a similar issue or know a way to explore the issue further, I would appreciate it a lot.

Thank you for your help and enjoy your working predators ;)

As a last measure you can try updating the BIOS. The version you should download is R01.A4, which is the latest for your motherboard. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/support-product/6372?b=1

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
