NEED HELP: I cant figure out how to make it so that my mouse pointer shows up when Im using apps like Chrome. I can use the mouse pad and even a plug in mouse to navigate and click on things when my apps are closed and when Im on the homescreen,  but not within the apps themselves. when I try to use the mouse and the app is open, I can see it appear on the bottom task bar, but when I try to move the mouse curser up using the mouse pad to navigate in chrome it just disappears. This has made it hard to edit documents since every time I want to select something I have to use the touch screen, when it would be so much nicer just to use my mouse. Ive tried playing with the settings without any luck. I need help!!

Usually this is caused by Chrome getting confused and thinking you are typing something. Close Chrome (verify that all tasks are closed with Task Manager) and reopen. It should be OK again.

Go to Settings>Mouse>Additional mouse options>Pointer Options. Is "Hide pointer while typing" checked ? I also use an XL pointer and long mouse trails.

Also I find that 2in1 machines that think they are a tablet lose the mouse.
