Hello,
Hopefully someone can give me some direction. I tried to start up my Acer Aspire 5733 this morning. It went into a loop of just trying to boot up. It just displays the initial Acer screen for a few seconds then reboots. I am unable to get into the BIOS or boot sequence by pressing any function keys..just keeps rebooting. The power supply is plugged in and there is an orange light on the front.
Could this be a bad power supply problem and dead battery? I've read it could also be related to RAM or the BIOS motherboard battery. The laptop worked fine yesterday. I did leave it in its case out in the car last night but it was not freezing cold or anything but it was unplugged all night.

so alt+f10 keys or F2 key at boot doesn't work?
had you try a battery reset?
take off the laptop battery for 5 minutes (without AC plugged) and then plug battery back and try to boot.
if your laptop has an HDD dock, open it and unplug the HDD, then try to boot to BIOS.
    I'm not an Acer employee.
