Is there something wrong with my Helios 300?

Hi I just got my Acer predator Helios 300
I played Blade and soul on it and the frames were like 20 fps, I asked around and they pointed out how my game was using the intel gpu instead of the gtx 1060. so I switched it, I updated the gpu using the downloadable file from the nvdia website using the steps they used. it's all well and good, fps is now at 60 average on all high... when I'm not moving... soon as I start moving it stutters. it doesn't stay down but there are a lot of moments where the fps just dives for like a second and then goes back up. but here's the real problem. I tested it out on a lighter game. League of Legends.
I played the game and I did the same things, I set the gpu used to the 1060. at first It was good, locked at 60 fps with all highest and v sync. then the next day, I played the same game and it dove to 40 fps. it stayed there. I tried restarting the laptop, the fans are set to max on the predator sense, I make sure it's cool and everything. then I went to blade and soul again. the stutters became WAY more frequent. like sometimes every time I cast a skill. Does anybody know what I'm supposed to do?

It seems like some people are seeing the Stutter whether is context intel graphic menu or opening programs.
I have the hellios 300- 17.3 and I get the right click- stutter intel graphics issue (which is resolved by disabling it). You can check it out on this forum here: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/541617#Comment_541617

Now as far as the stutter in game, I don't have that problem. I only have problem with opening programs like firefox and chrome. It would stutter and then runs fine.  In the link above, there's a workaround. Try installing TrayPwrD3. What it does is, it will utilize the nvidia card and not the intel graphics. Give that a try and play some game to see if there's any stuttering.

Thanks man. I worked with my pc all night last night trying to fix this and I realized I forgot to mention that I was using an external monitor. Seems the resolutions didn't match. my LG monitor is set at a lower resolution. The FPS went fine when I was playing on the laptop. whenever I connected it to the monitor it would fall to 40 on league of legends. can you imagine my frustration when league of legends, a game that would run on a TOASTER was struggling on my Helios? so yeah I removed the monitor, fps was amazing. but I really wanted to play using the monitor because I'm a lazy ***** and didn't wanna break my neck looking down on the laptop monitor for hours while gaming so I did a little playing around and found out that the resolution had to be set to the monitor's native display while playing on it. I did that and it started running like butter on the monitor :D
