Aspire V3-571G BSOD When Using Dedicated Graphics Card

Hey,

I just received my brand new laptop, but like the title says, whenever I attempt to launch a program that uses the graphics adapter, it stutters for a little bit, before finally either BSOD'ing or telling me "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 307.17 stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

This happens even with NVIDIA's own Control Panel program, where it gives you that little preview window of the rotating NVIDIA logo. I tried with Minecraft as well, just to make sure it wasn't that program alone.

Anyone else experienced this before and/or have any tips? Thanks a lot in advance!

PS: I would've submitted a support ticket about this, but it requires me to enter the date of purchase, but it keeps yelling at me that I need to enter "a valid date", even though I'm using the little date picker next to the input field.

I ended up sending the laptop in for repair, and apparently, it was a faulty motherboard, so they changed it. Everything has been running smoothly after that.
