I just bought my Predator laptop, and I noticed that whenever I play a game while the laptop is plugged,  the game will start a few minutes then crashes.  But if I start the game in battery power I'm not having problems with the game until the battery runs out.  Can someone help me?  I have updated the bios to 1.13 and nvidia version 388.71

I have the exact same problem.Bought mine on Saturday and opened it up yesterday. Whole NYE was spend on diagnosing this problem. I have noticed that if the battery dies out and you plug in, then it will only charge it up to 40%. After that BSOD and crash. However, if the computer is shut down and then plugged in, it charges it properly.
Multiple and random BSOD come as soon as it is plugged in. Resetting battery did not work also. Any solutions?

I don't have the solution yet.  I think I'll have to send it to service center.  I'll give feedback as soon as I found a solution.

It turns out there was a problem with my battery/motherboard straight out of the box. Had it replaced with a new one. Doing OK for now. How did it turn out for you?

    Hi vinpredator,
No time yet to go to the store.  Maybe this weekend.  Good to hear your laptop is A-Ok.  Enjoy!

I have been having the problem where I get a code 43 for the 1060. I kept factory resetting it but the gpu keeps getting the error. Is it probably a hardware fault? My roommate has the Helios 300 as well and doesn't experience this problem.

    Hi CouchJunky,
Is your laptop has warranty?  I send mine to the store where I bought it for checking.  I'll give feedback as soon as they return my laptop.
