Hey guys. Does anyone with an Acer aspire 5 using 8 gen Intel processors with the MX150 know of any issues with cooling? Is it recommended to repaste the CPU and GPU or is the stock paste good enough?

The stock paste is good, but it depends on how well it is applied. Good quality custom thermal paste will always be better, but only in worst case scenario you will need to repaste. Usually the CPU has the higher temperatures, so I wouldn't worry about the GPU. If the temperatures are a bit high, only undervolting the CPU will be enough. The termal paste on the GPU isn't very much needed to be applied well.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
