Acer E5-576G-88WD backlit keyboard.

Hello.
I just bought an Acer E5-576G-88WD.It's code is  NX.GSBEX.006 and on the Acer datasheet it said that it has a backlit keyboard.

However mine does not have a backlit keyboard which for me is a show stopper because i was planning on using this laptop as a DJ at nightclubs.
Should it have a backlit keyboard or what is going on?

    I can't see any reference of your laptop having a keyboard backlight. As JackE said some varaints of e5-576g have it and some not.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

    Hi,
    You need to contact the retailer to get a replacement or a refund as it's a recent purchase, it shouldn't be a problem.

    I probably will.Can you recommend a different Acer model at roughly the same price point that has a backlit keyboard?An i7 cpu isn't required.An i5 will do just fine.

    It's very difficult for me to suggest any laptop with a keyboard backlight as they use random Motherboards and I doubt even the retailers will be able to confirm that a particular laptop with that feature as they come in sealed box, I would suggest you to visit any local store and have a chat with them or give the local Acer Customer support centre in your country, sorry for not being very helpful.

    Hello.The vendor is evoMag in Romania.Is it really an option?Because the datasheet that I`ve linked you to does not say that anywhere...

    To say the very least you saying "they use random mobos and i doubt even the retailers will be able to confirm.." is worrying.How exactly can this happen to a respected brand such as Acer?It`s a bit sad really.Well,thank you for your help nevertheless.I will talk to the Acer Customer Support centre.
