Aspire R15 keyboard and power button stopped working

Hello. Today it has been my first day using my Aspire R15 (R5-571TG model). While playing Prey on it, the entire keyboard and poweroff button stopped working completely. Lights of the keyboard went off and i wasnt able to get out of the game. The trackpad worked just fine, so i connected an external keyboard and were able to leave the game. 

I proceeded to restart the computer, but after that it got stuck with the screen in black and never completed the restart. I cannot shut it off because the power button wont work either and I am unable to do anything. I dont know if it came damaged or if it is just a driver error.

Also, I dont know if I should open it and remove the battery and connect it again in order to completely restart it, or if that would avoid warranty (please note that this is the first day of usage of this device)

Interesting, I didn't have the keyboard issue at all but when attempting to power my laptop on today - same model and everything - it did not turn on and power indicator on the front didnt light at all. Mine was manufactured in December 2017, wondering if there was a similar date on yours.
