num lock button working automatically

on my laptop aspire v 15 (v3-574g-341p) num lock key is working automatically. how to fix this problem?

    I am having this same problem.  Previous threads that I have searched have all been closed without any responses.  Bumping this to keep it alive, in the hopes that an answer comes soon.

    I'm not quite sure I understand the question... but if you're having the problem I was having (that the num lock kept turning off "automatically" and you have to keep turning it back on)... For me, the problem was the "Acer quick access" software. For some reason, almost every time the computer booted up or woke from sleep, this program would turn off num lock. You can find it in the Programs and uninstall it. Uninstalling it means you lose the on-screen indicator that normally comes up when you enable/disable num lock manually, and a couple other "function" buttons might not work.... wish I had a better fix, but given how often I use the number pad, not having to turn it back on every time I stepped away from the computer was well worth it.
