Helois 300 battery life VERY BAD!

When i recieved my helois 300 the laptop didnt want to turn on from the beggining untill plugged in and now the battery stays for sub 2 hours on light browsing is that normal or should i return my unit

    Hi,

    It is normal. And the First Booting should be done in AC mode instead of Battery mode.

    Are you sure below 2 hours is normal because there is a guy saying he gets 3-4 hours without undervolt and he gets 7-8 hours with undervolt so?

    Could you provide your model number? It will be easier to get your model specification.

    To get 3-4 hours of battery runtime while browsing, you should have the screen brightness set to 0% and battery saver turned on.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

    That's very correct. And also we don't know what type of browsing is done in light browsing. AFAIK, even 2-tabs of chrome utilize unexpected amount of resources.
