Aspire VN7-592G audio jack not working

Hello,

this is a question regarding my headphone jack.
The laptop stopped detecting my headphone starting about a month ago. I have tried multiple headphones and the result is same.
I also updated the Realtek driver as found on the Acer drivers page for my model. It didn't help.
For the meantime I'm relying on bluetooth headphone, but it'd be nice to resolve this issue.
Might anyone have an idea as to what's wrong? In case that the hardware is broken, is it possible to target the problem and find a replacement?
Thanks in advance!

Also, the headphones do not show up under playback devices under control panel-sound
