Hello all.
Recently I was watching a movie through the HDMI connection to my tv and I decided to disable the display of the laptop. When I shut it down the next time I booted the system there is no acer logo or image showing up at all. This is a windows 10 and quad-core a10-7300 with Radeon r6 graphics and 8gig of ddr3 ram.
Does anyone know of a similiar problem and possibly have the solution please?

I should also state I've tried the battery reset method with no result.

    You recently update your laptop?

It was set to update automatically and I'm not sure when the last time it updated.
I also tried plugging the HDMI cable back to the external display and no luck there either

The same thing happen to me and my gf laptop. Both model is aspire v15 (V5-591G-70QN). Our laptop were prompted to updated. But after we update and restart, our laptop could not on anyone. Instead it was set on a restart loop. Where the laptop keep on restarting by itself.

I suggest you to bring down your laptop to their service centre to ask them what is going on. As that will be exactly what i will be doing first thing tomorrow morning.

Has anyone experienced this problem yet and found a solution?
This laptop was virtually brand new hardly used because I wanted to keep it a long time.
I'm thinking Acer support is none existent!

Another question is does anyone know how to reflash the bios if you have no access to windows and no start up screen? There is no fd file in its bios packages available from the site using 7zip to extract from the executable file.

I have the same problem. How do I flash the BIOS from a USB stick when all I can download from the Acer site is this Z5WAK115.exe file?
