Acer Swift 3-314 on Windows 10(updated to 12/2/2017)
Currently running on Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - MEDIA - 7/19/2017 12:00:00 AM - 6.0.1.8216
Suddenly giving me code 10 again. Had this problem the last time and soft-resetted my laptop to fix it, which makes me think that either windows 10 or the driver is somehow incompatible?
Have tried reinstalling the driver, downloading the latest driver from acer and restarting my laptop. I really dont wish to reset my laptop again just to fix a sound problem.
Both happened when I closed the lid to put it to sleep.
Would appreciate any help as I need the sound for my e-lectures.

Open Device Mgr. Go to  Realtek properties. Check if a ROLLBACK option is available and try that. The rapid-fire auto Win10updates are apparently causing issues for many different mfrs. Jack E/NJ

I just got the laptop yesterday. Windows 10 did an update and now I have no audio. Has anyone found a solution?

Open Device Mgr. Go to  Realtek properties. Check if a ROLLBACK option is available and try that. If not, uninstall the Realtek driver. Exit and reboot machine to let Win10 re-detect and re-install the driver. Jack E/NJ
