I recently purchased Aspire t70 with Geforce Video card. It has a HDMI and Dvi port. I have plugged in into the DVI port a dvi to vga adapter then to that i plugged in VGA Splitter Cable to connect to monitors to VGA ports on screens. System does not recognise second monitor. Tried rightclick on desktop to Nvidia control panel and tried detect put no go. tried uninstall and reinstal display driver as well. PLEASE HELP?

honestly not the best setup, since you are already doing a D/A conversion and using a VGA splitter.
and you system can't recognise a second monitor in this way; time to change to monitors with DVI or HDMI ports.
    I'm not an Acer employee.

Buy a HDMI to VGA cable and connect that to the HDMI on the video card and the VGA end to your monitor.  Buy a DVI to VGA cable and connect it to the DVI port on the video card and the VGA to your other monitor.    Just make sure you buy the correct ends: male to male is most likely what you need but check your connections to be sure.  Amazon sells these but you can find them at other places too.
