V3-372 wakes out of sleep, very hot, black screen

In the past half a year or so I've noticed the computer's tendency to randomly wake out of sleep on itself and start generating a lot of heat. The screen will not show anything else than black.

This is a bad problem since I just close my laptop lid to put it to sleep when I go to work. After I come back home, the computer has woken up on itself, and it's very hot but will not show anything on screen, just black.

I'm afraid if this continues then it'll break components inside due to the heat. How could I find out what is causing the issue?

Please do not suggest shutting down the computer instead of putting it to sleep, I want to put the computer to sleep due to it retaining all the apps in use and it's much faster to open up as well.

The computer is the Acer V3-732(-5414): i5-6200U, 8Gb RAM, FullHD display.

You can perform a battery reset. Here is shown how: https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/34843/~/acer-internal-battery-reset

You can also update BIOS from here: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/support-product/6398?b=1

Before installation make sure battery is fully charged and laptop connected to charger.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

ven98, is there any reasoning behind those suggestions? Anyone else had the same problem and found a solution in those?

Not really, we can assune that the ptoblem is software related, because the PC wakes up from sleep by itself for no reason. Resetting battery lets the componets of the laptop discharge, making it fully reset and remove bugs caused by these componets working continoisly without being resetted. Auto wake up from sleep and black screen, can be because of bad BIOS(updating BIOS can fix that) or a graphics drive, which can explain the black screen, but doesn't explain why it wakes up by itself.

Ok thanks ven98, I'm gonna wait if other people know more about the problem first. Maybe after I'll try those if nothing else helps.

Anyone know about the issue? Found out a definitive solution?

Try disabling LAN wakeup in BIOS Main. If already disabled, then try turning off wifi altogether with FN+F3 before closing lid.  Jack E/NJ

I disabled "Allow wake timers" from Windows Power Options. Let's see if that helps. Thanks JackE for the suggestion, was reminded of that. I'll try that BIOS setting next.

Been working like a charm again, so it seems the wake timers were the problem. I'll update if the problem still continues some time.
