Wi Fi connection dropping constantly

hi, im in Thailand and my laptops wifi connection constantly drops when attached to a work internet and my home internet, the connection is stable if I connect using my phone or tablet in the same location. S.About two weeks ago I installed the latest drivers but the problems continue.
However it's not a problem if I tether to my mobile phone, just work home or work related internet access which requires a password, I would put it down to these unstable connections but my phone and tablet are fine.

Any ideas what is causing the problem, a friend of mine in the office has a similar problem with a different version acer laptop.

My laptop is a E5-553G-T03K AMD A10-9600P / AMD Radeon 445dx / 8GB ddr / 1tb drive running windows 10
