I currently have an Acer Aspire R11.  How would I go about upgrading my storage space in order to do a clean installation to install Windows 10?

R11 is actually an R-3-131T-xxxx and the xxxx is the important part. In general if it starts with a "P" you should have no problem. OTOH if it starts with a "C" you may since many of those have only a 32GB Flash drive. Since W10 updates such as the 1709 that just came out want more than 10GB of free space you may have a problem.

If so there are many threads on the subject but first you can do a full disk cleanup including system files. Next add a 64 or 128GB SD card class 10 or faster (slot is in the back) and move as much as possible onto the SD card. Best if you can manage 12-14GB of free space.
