Can it truly be a “lap”top?

i find the 17x very interesting for my gaming needs. I live in an apartment and my only desk space is taken up by an iMac, which I love, but is not ideal for gaming.

Has anyone used the Predator 17x on their lap and what have been your experiences for extended play/computer time? Is it feasible or too unwieldy for such a purpose?

Thanks!

I often(not much often) play games with 17X on my lap and it is very comfortable and I don't even feel it on my lap even having a mass of 4.5kg. I have being playing on it for about 2hours without taking it off of my lap and I can see it is pretty comfortable for a 4.5kg laptop. Also it doesn't get so hot underneath, to make your legs sweat, but after 30 or more minutes of play time(depends on the game too, if it is a light game it will get colder too) you will start feeling it to heat up. This my experience, but with you it can bd a different situation.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
