    were you trying to do a fresh installation using a bootable usb or something?

    Have you changed your BIOS setting to or from "Legacy" lately.  You may be using the wrong setting.  When you receive that message, you can reach the BIOS settings by inserting a fresh installation disk or USB and then pressing F2 during startup.  (Windows 10)
