Hi,

I have my vn7-591G and currently I encounter a serious problem.

Today after a restart my notebook just does not want to start. It does not turn on the screen at all. It happened to me before when I had a USB drive plugged in, but not there is no USB drive plugged in. So I if I turn it on the lights come on, I hear the HDD spinning but there is no screen, nothing. I know that it does not boot, because if it would boot the notebook would connect to the wifi network but it's not connected. If I leave it for longer time, nothing happens just sometimes the fan will start to slowly spin. I don't even see the POST screen

I would like to try a BIOS reset, but I have no idea how I can do it. I know to open the notebook, since I changed the thermal paste in it a few times already. Please, could anybody provide the method how to do a BIOS reset? I really need the data from this notebook for Monday, and I don't have any notebook to put in the M.2 drive to take the data from it. I read that there is an FN+ESC method to do BIOS recovery, but I have no idea what should be on the USB drive.
I know, that many would suggest to send it back to service, which I understand could be the most normal approach, but in current situation, I am unable to send it to service till I don't get the data from the notebook to be able to continue my work. This is why I would try to do a complete bios reset, it may work.

There is no lights blinking, every light is on, no beep codes from BIOS, but the notebook beeps when I unplug the power cable. Also if close the screen the notebook does not enter in the standby mode (the power light will not turn into a blinking orange).

Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Sebastian
