This thread is for those using throttlestop.

ThrottleStop is set to not work after certain time, so don't worry that there is something wrong. There isn't a newer version currently, so to undervolt you should use XTU. Another way to make ThrottleStop work is to set date before 1st of November.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
-Model number
-Part number(not required, but helpful)
-CPU
-GPU
-Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Thanks! that worked on my helios 300
  • Also keep an eye on the Throttlestop forum page for when the next update comes out. The old/expired version is 8.48. Watch for when it gets updated, but it is easy to turn the date back.
