My network adapter doesn't allow me to connect to my home WiFi, but it can connect to others. Why?

I own a Predator G3-571 (Acer Predator Helios 300), and it's about 3 months old. From time to time, it loses all connection to the internet, and nothing I do seems to get it back. The network shows up as available and secured, but it never connects. I have Windows 10 Home. Restarting doesn't work, the only thing that works is waiting for it to somehow connect again. It's not an issue with the router, because my phone seems to be fine throughout all that. It happens exclusively during online gaming. What's happening? What do I do?

The first thing I would check is for viruses, sometimes a little bugger gets in and messes with the connection as it tries to intercept your data stream.
The next thing is to get the drivers upgraded to the latest versions and also ensure that the router has the latest firmware.
If you can, run the MBAM ADWCLEANER and JRT - get them from bleeping computer. If you have to, plug it into the router with an ethernet CAT5 cable.
I would also check the adapter settings and make sure that Windows is not turning the device off to save power.

I don't have any viruses, as far as I can see. I use Kaspersky, and it works fine. All the drivers are updated as well. Even if I uncheck the option so that Windows does not turn off the device to save power, it still manages to do so.
