I purchased predator g3-571 in US in September 2017. I have had graphic card issues so tried online support but eventually found out its a hardware problem.
So I brought it to Acer service center in Seoul, Korea. However, they are telling me that international warranty is not applied because I am a Korean citizen (I have been notified that the warranty is only applied for US citizens for product bought in US) which i do not understand at all. Your warranty operation policy, is it for the customers or your convenience?

Please confirm this policy from you HQ and let me know.
By the way, its only been a little over a month since i bought this computer and i haven't even used it a couple times and it gives me problems like this, and no warranty.
If this is true i should never buy acer product again.

If you bought the laptop from the US and you brought it to Korea, of which you are a citizen(you Korean citizenship), then the international travelers warranty doesn't apply to you. There is a guide inside the laptop's box about the international warranty.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

A week after i purchased the computer i found out problems and did online troubleshooting with acer and nvidia and took about another month for acer to conclude that it is a hardware problem. I haven't done anything to the computer except install steam and battlegrounds game after the purchase. it just has been sitting at my desk for a month. never pushed it.
I think that is poor quality control.
And i know how the international warranty works. its just that i tried to pay for the fix here in seoul and the service guy tells me it would probably cost the same as buying a new one.
Believe me i would give up warranty if the fix price was in a reasonable range. So i have my hands tied. one of the worst customer experiences.
