Machine boots, nothing on the screen. Can someone help me its, as I can work. IF I doing something wrong, or I need another bios etc. or if there is another process. please let us know

    (1) What ACER model and number? (2) What problem did you think a BIOS upgrade would fix? Jack E/NJ

Press and hold the power button till the machine completely shuts off. Remove the charger plug. Insert the stick. Press & hold FN+ESC. While still pressing and holding FN+ESC, insert the charger plug. The power button should blink. Don't let go of FN+ESC.  Press the power button once. The BIOS chip, ***if*** its boot section is still intact, should try to read the stick. Jack E/NJ

You should use a stick with an activity LED. Otherwise the system should auto restart with the ACER logo screen appearing if successful. Jack E/NJ

Did you try both filenames? Only one can be in the sticks root directory. Jack E/NJ
