Hi,
I have purchased Acer Nitro 5 Spin NP515-51 Laptop which has Qualcom Atheros QCA61x4 WiFi module. However whenever I use this laptop, I am loosing my Internet connectivity randomly.
I could find that my WiFi modem is getting in a hung state, whenever the issue happens. I have other 2 Laptops (Wifi mode "n" supported) / 2 smartphones (Wifi mode "g/n" supported) which are working fine with the same modem. Only when I try to browse or do some streaming activity with my Acer laptop the WiFi connection is lost randomly. It could be within 5mins or it could take hours to reproduce this issue.
All other devices connected to same network also looses WiFi connectivity since the Wireless router is affected.

After I did some research in google, I looked at the Wifi mode setting in My computer versus My router.
My router is working in WiFi b/g/n mode and it cannot be changed.
But when I change the Acer laptop wireless mode to "g" the issue is resolved. But then my Wifi speed to reduced considerably from ~10MBps to ~1MBps. In all other WiFi modes like "g/n"; "b/g/n" etc set in the wireless properties the issue persists. Also there is no WiFi mode as "n" alone in Wireless properties so that I could get good speed.
This looks to me like a driver issues when mixed Wifi mode support in enabled like "b/g/n" etc.

When I search in Internet I could see a lot of complaints about WiFi issues in Acer laptops. Acer really needs to look into this issue and provide a resolution.
