Bios Update & now computer won't start!

I wish I had never tried to update the bios on my Aspire TC-120!! It came up as a critical update and I thought I was doing a good thing by updating it. I wish I had just ignored the update. My computer completely shut down and wont start at all. Nothing on monitor, no lights on the front or beeping and I don't think it's even recognizing my keyboard and mouse. Do I need a new motherboard or can I save this desktop by purchasing e-recovery media? Any help would be very appreciated...I'm not very tech savvy (obviously, or I wouldn't be in this situation lol ) so please keep it simple :)
