The most annyoing keys are "V", "B" and space, I noticed the same with Down arrow
Was there ever a fix for this issue? I am having the exact same problem. Spacebar, v, b down arrow not working. Also noticed 6 key not working on the numeric pad (num lock area). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Using Helios PH317-51
terrellpugh You can either try a battery pinhole reset and let it rest for a couple of hours (disconnect form AC press/hold the pinhole switch for 30s let it rest from 2/3h)  and after go to bios F2 on boot reset bios to defaults if the issue persist you can also try an acer factory recovery reset fresh install (ALT+F10 on boot) if still not fixed after these 2 steps i would rule out software any issues and start to suspect its hardware issues at this point i would contact acer support for a possible repair/replace if still on warranty

I'll be contacting support as I have tried all of the suggestions. This is really unfortunate seeing that the machine is less than a year old. Thank mate!

As any other product in mass production there is and will always have the issue of some faulty units/parts unfortunately

At this point (and I have never heard about something like that before) seems like keyboard needs to warm up before work correctly. Is that even possible?

R, T don't always press unless I press them gently and slowly. 6 sometimes doubles even on single quick tap. If computer's been cold, 6 usually doesn't work at all. Curious how this even happens.

Hey guys, I have same issue. The laptop needs a warmi up before the keyboard starts working, it started 10 months after I bought it with numpad 9, now 1 year later we are talking about half of the keyboard with the same issue.
I have tried different things, like rebooting my pc, factory reset, replug the keyboard in the mother board, same old story.
I guess, I will have to buy a new keyboard and see what happens then

I have a similar problem on acer 314 chromebook. Some keys need a half hour to start to work. Device is about 2 years old. Not spilled anything on it. Its used in dry conditions. Some of the non operational keys are the same each day eg, backspace, g, h, ., esc.. Tried operating as guest but just the same. Any ideas?? or does it go in the bin.
